Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service form an agreement between HostBuddy and each customer using our services. Use of the service constitutes acceptance of these terms, our acceptable-use requirements, privacy policy, and applicable data-processing terms.

Service and account information

Customers must provide accurate, current contact information and maintain an actively monitored email address. Services or third-party components may be changed, added, suspended, or discontinued as products evolve.

Fees and billing

Services are normally provided on a prepaid basis and billed according to the selected billing cycle. Fees are charged in US dollars and applicable taxes remain the customer’s responsibility. One-time charges, domain registrations, WHOIS privacy, and certificate purchases are non-refundable.

60-day money-back guarantee

Eligible initial hosting purchases terminated within 60 calendar days may receive a refund of qualifying hosting fees. Setup charges, domains, certificates, certain short-term purchases, renewals, and plan changes are excluded. Requests must be submitted through the control panel.

Domains

Domain registrations are processed through a registrar partner. Customers agree to applicable registrar and ICANN terms and understand that registration information must be shared with the registrar. Domain fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation, refunds, and disputes

Cancellation requests must be submitted through the authenticated support portal. Customers are responsible for backing up files, databases, and email before cancellation. Remaining data may be permanently removed after termination.

Payment and non-payment

Accounts may be suspended after overdue payment and terminated if payment remains outstanding. Retention periods differ by service type, and terminated data may be unrecoverable.

Resource usage

Customers must remain within the resource, file-count, bandwidth, storage, connection, and service limits assigned to their plan. Excessive or harmful use may result in corrective action.

Security and acceptable use

Attempting to violate or circumvent network security is prohibited. Customers are responsible for their content and for the lawful operation of sites, applications, and services hosted in their account.

Enforcement

HostBuddy may remove content, suspend services, or terminate an account when necessary to address abuse, security issues, non-payment, chargebacks, or violations of these terms.
